Tales from the Edge | Short Film Series

Social Media Manager

This project occurred during the first Lockdown and was inspired by Alan Bennett’s Talking Heads. It was an opportunity to support creatives and raise money for struggling theatre workers during the pandemic.

My role included running the social media, website, video output and festival submissions for this short film series. I also gave technical advice to the actors who recorded the films safely at home. The monologues were written by BAFTA nominated BBC writer Carolyn S. Jones and raises money for Acting For Others. The donations are ongoing so if you feel inspired, please donate via our website link:

A Woman’s Life | Short Film

Assistant Director & Production Runner

Worked with an excellent team to bring the story of Clara Von Holst to life in a short period drama, written by BAFTA nominated screenwriter Carolyn S Jones.

Duties included supporting the DP with camera work and lighting, acting as time keeper, advising on creative decisions, supervising the schedule and being on hand to adapt to a diverse range of roles as production runner.

The Chalke Valley History Festival Media Team 2018

Video Editor & Camera Operator

In the summer of 2018 I took a placement at The Chalke Valley History Festival where I worked through a heat wave to shoot and edit promotional footage for Britain’s biggest history festival. See what we created through the blood, sweat and tears, as I embarked on a unique opportunity to physically create video content and not just make the tea runs (although don’t knock me brewing skills!).

When the Bean Drops | 48hr Film Competition

Co-Director

This comic short was created for the 48hr Film Competition in my second year at Bournemouth University. Myself and a team of 4 others worked hard to cast, shoot and edit this film in a weekend. The project had to feature a “willhelm scream”, a screwdriver and the line “sometimes it do be like that”. Watch to see what a stressed out and probably hungover group of students pulled together!
